Safety ranks as the highest priority of commitment by CRA's senior management. CRA's health and safety program is called Safety Means Awareness Responsibility Teamwork (SMART). The SMART program was developed to provide the foundation for continuous improvement in our safety performance and serve as a vehicle by which we sustain the importance of health and safety management in our daily activities.

Provide consistent safety and health training throughout the company

Employee Responsibility for Safety
CRA employees have the following responsibilities for safety regardless of workplace location and/or position held within the company:
Comply with CRA safety and health policies and procedures
Comply with United States, Canadian, and client site-specific requirements for occupational safety and health
Report all accidents, injuries, illnesses, near misses, and unsafe conditions
Follow safe work practices
Wear appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment
Recognize health and safety hazards and use appropriate safeguards
